The Trade Department of The Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with The Chamber of Commerce of Terrassa, has participated in an Inverse Trade Mission with a group of eighth American importers from the food and beverage sectors.

The Trade Mission took place in Terrassa and a total of 29 companies from Egypt, Morocco, Turkey and the USA participated in more than 300 meetings in the two days of the multi-industry and multi-country Trade Mission.

The gourmet sector is increasing every year and 13% of the food industry is focused on gourmet products. The Trade Mission, that took place during the 24th, 25th and 26th of May, was a complete success and included specific conferences about the region and specialty products from the area followed by the business meetings where importers had the chance of meeting with the manufacturers from Catalonia.
