The leading global law firm of Baker McKenzie announces the arrival of Antonio Morales to head its Public Law, Infrastructure and Energy Department at its offices in Madrid. With this appointment, Baker McKenzie adds to its exceptional professional team and gives a strong boost to this strategic practice area. 

Antonio MoralesThe addition of Antonio Morales further reinforces the firm's global Energy, Mining and Infrastructure (EMI) group, which is led by the Spanish partner José Morán and includes more than 1,100 lawyers in 77 offices around the world. 

Mr. Morales has extensive experience in legal advice and management of complex arbitrations in international, national and regional courts, where he has advised and represented important national and international companies, especially in the areas of energy, banking, aerospace, mining and infrastructure.

Mr. Morales is a State Attorney on leave of absence from the High Court of Madrid.  Closely linked to the energy sector, he also held the office of Secretary General of the Nuclear Safety Council from 2002 to 2005. The new Baker McKenzie principal appears in the main directories of reference for the legal profession in Spain. He holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Complutense (1995) and a PhD in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (2008). In addition, Antonio also took part in the Public Leadership Management Program given by IESE at the University of Navarra (2006) and the Executive Development Program of the IE Business School (2004).
